Rick Ryan's Van Stolen from Amsoil AX

Bump.

This thread is about Ricky Ryan, winner of the 1987 Daytona Supercross and his van that was stolen.

While Rick is now retired, his son Jeremy is a very fast up and coming 80cc racer.

Rick and his family do not have deep pockets, and without question this has to sting, deeply to this kids racing career.

Would be helpful if we can get VIN numbers and a plate number as well.

How about posting a photo of the van? VIN and plate number aren't much good if somebody were to pass this vehicle on the street.

There are plate reading cameras along interstate hwys now ,not sure where all they are available ,but,it catches many a tag .

Not sure how one would go about getting them to look for it either. To bad a man cant plug into that network and capitalize on its abilities.

Kinda hard to steal a locked steering vehicle,he leave the keys in it? If he did then it was a spur of moment crime. If it was pros looking for a specific vehicle with tools to steal it will never be found.
