Does anyone know if one of the graphics companies makes retro kits? I was thinking of buying the last version of the KX250 (2005 or 2006 I think) and trying to make it look like Wardy's Kawi from the early 90's. He was my favorite rider and I thought those KX's were the shit. I loved the Flo Green style they had. My KX60 was flo green and had this look too.

Its harder to replicate an old-school look on modern AF bikes unless you commit to powdercoating your frame. The large aluminium spars scream new/modern.

Yeah, but sometimes just a hint of retro is really cool. I've always loved the TLD Honda's because the color scheme remindes me of the early-mid 80's Honda works bikes.

I had a buddy do mine. Maybe this winter tear it down and blue frame like the one above. That thing is sick.

That's awesome! Not really diggin the all blue engine but I know that's how they used to be. Takes true dedication to go back to the conventional forks just for the looks. Love the flat front number plat though!

Once my TLD graphics turn to junk, I'm gonna go here to keep my CR lookin new and fresh, and old and classy.

This is my 2007 KX250-R7.

Entirely brand new engine with new OEM cases, covers, crank assembly, seals, bearings, piston, clutch hub, inner basket, clutch steel and driven plates, Boyesen RAD valve, Phathead cylinder head, PC works pipe, Turbinecore silencer.

Fork revalve and service by A1 Racing Suspension, shock service by same. Pro-circuit dog-bone links are installed as well.

I designed the graphics myself. Wanted to go for a kind of 1988 look, but modernized. Almost wish I'd went with white numberplate backgrounds but these do for now.
