After watching Red Bull straight rhythm I am revisiting the question brought up several times. Roczen looked so good on that bike, impressively. I was blown away

Who would be the dominant rider if two strokes were still the main bike? Does the cream always rise or is there someone who would struggle?

So would the same riders still be on top???

Webb would not be a race winner. He looked uncomfortable yesterday, IMO

Roczen would still be in hunt for the win if they were racing razor scooters.

I think the top guys on 4 strokes would be top guys on 2 strokes. its 90% the rider. Webb looked uncomfortable but thats becuse he hasd NEVER riden a 250 2T before that week. If they raced every week he would be incredibly comfortable.

Roczen, Anderson, Barcia, Musquin, Tomac

Biggest loser with 4 strokes was James Stewart. Just had to say it.

To your original question, cream rises to the top. Guys are good for their dedication to being great. Not because of the motor, engine style.

I agree. Stewart would have won more if all on two strokes which is crazy, he won a ton...

But I wonder if taller heavier riders like milsaps could have continued to excel, he did ok on 125s so I guess maybe he would have been fine...

The best riders benefit from having work ethic, fitness, mental robustness & skill.

The best riders would still be the best riders no matter what bike they’re on.

Despite this, some vitards still think if you put Eli Tomac on an RM-Z he’d be a backmarker! Lol lol lol!
