It's a side show race, RC if He was legit trying would be pulling lap times in the 33s

I wish he did Superpole, he's still got it.

It was a bit of filler between the races. So what. Sure beats the spokettes without the aid of binoculars. It wasn't much different from the old postie races and if you don't understand why they need the gap in racing there it's to allow the guys from semi's and LCQ a chance to freshen up and get their bikes ready. I had a good belly laugh going at the track cutting and attempted take outs and found it way more entertaining than the KTM 50 racing. Guess I'm not core enough

I watched it and thought it was a bit of a laugh and can't see the harm, it's like a rodeo clown playing with a Bull. Filled in a good 10 or so minutes. Cool to just RC ride that 12 year old bike around which should be enough to make anyone smile even if Uncle Ron is not to your liking.

If you don’t like the RC vs Ronnie stuff, look, it could be worse. How about 4 or 5 celebrities having a foot race in a sumo suit. At least is was moto related and how often do you get to see the goat rip his two stroke around.

The rm250 was a sight (sound) to behold.

So put 2 legends out on the track and showcase it for was it could be, legends on legendary bikes. Perfect time filler that both moto fans and new comers can appreciate.

Instead it's dickhead Ron cutting the track, wearing two pairs of goggles and getting tackled by security.

Junior KTM races getting TV time is a bit of a joke. But that's a different topic.

Seeing the two of them rip up the track was cool. The WWF stuff sucks. There's sweet spot just before something "jumps the shark"...too much of what could have been an okay/cool...ish thing. Dude can definitely ride and RC still got it.

You do know that was their objective, right? Reed broke his ankles and bowed out. So they kept the show going and brought Jimmy down. You have to remember that AUS fans have never had a chance to see Ronnie Mac in person.

Don't watch it if you don't like it. Time to face facts, Ronnie Mac is more popular than quite a few top riders in this sport.

I don’t care either way about the Ronnie Mac deal...but I was stunned at how fast RC can still get through those whoops! He’s definitely still got it.

He could threaten for podiums in a 250 two stroke SX class

Supercross fans in attendance for years have complained (rightfully so) about the stupid Toyota promotion they do inbetween races at every SX. AUS X OPEN switches it up and gives fans something that they could actually pay attention to and be excited about, and you complain about that too? Its a short race to fill time. You dont want KTM juniors taking that time, so what else do you want? Nothing? If you dont like that they invited Ronnie, get over it. Go get a beer and dont watch. You cant say Ronnie doesnt bring excitement to the event- look at straight rhythm. Without Ronnie, that whole event is a dud. Can we get a 'glass half full' outlook on this kind of stuff please and stop being so negative about everything?

Can we all agree that the amateur SX races n 2018 will be better than stupid Toyota promotions or Ronnie Mac?

I can agree with that. However I would not be mad to see Ronald Mac either. Amateur racing should be badass!
And anything is better than that Toyota crap. Even the wiener dog races.
