Rest in Peace, Jesse

Our hearts go out to the Masterpool family, as Jesse succumbed to his injuries last night.

He was a warrior that never gave up, both on and off the track. We have all lost a special young man that had a profound affect on not only the people that knew him personally, but the entire motocross cummunity.

#956will live on in our hearts and minds....

Wow, that is so sad. Sorry to hear that. Masterpools family, just know he is with God now.

I haven't stopped thinking and praying for Jesse and his family since I heard the news of his terrible accident. My heart is breaking now for his family and friends. From one mxmom to another...I pray for Jesse's mom to have enough strength to be able to cope, and for her heart to heal, and for her to be at peace knowing her son had a passion for motocross and that she allowed him to live his dream.

Rest in peace ... very sad news ... this is a very dangerous sport and I would like to see MX/ SX tracks made to be safer for the riders , I could care less if they are less spectacular .

I agree motomom4. I pray the Masterpools don't blame themselves for this. I was just talking to my wife about how much tougher it would be knowing my kid died doing something I got them into as opposed to another way. It would be tough to not blame yourself. I hope and pray they know it's just a freak accident and Jesse died living his dream. Which is allot more then most people can say.

I would think they more than most would understand the risk. His mom was one of the top snowboard racers in the 80s and early 90s. His dad trained most of the top US racers both men and women.

Horrible day for the entire motocross community. Thoughts and prayers go out his family, can't imagine what it must be like for them.

Here's a video of him testing before US Open. The kid was a real talent and would have gone far.
