Replacing soles on Tech 10's

For the people that have replaced the soles on their Tech 10's, did you send them back to Alpinestars or just get a local boot shop to do it?

It's getting about that time for mine so i'm just wondering the best way to go about doing it.

Just call astars, they have super fast turn around and you know it's done right.

Astar used to do it for 80, now they do it for 100. That includes new soles and shipping back. They will also inspect your boots and replace anything else that is needed. This may come as a cost though.

Also, if your Achilles (Flex blade) is damaged at all, they wont touch them.

I think it just depends on the model of boot. I want to say tech 7's are $80 and 10's are $100.
