True that. Kind of crazy, so much time and effort goes into this sport, from wrenching to riding. Meanwhile being a cute girl, opens up the side door from anything to promoting cans of poison, tv-exposure or even becoming a wife. I feel bad, she gets shit from some of us, I mean who wouldn't take the job? Sure I know jack of her, but I assume she wasn't headhunted from Harvard.

I just think the person putting her infront of the camera didn't deliver, or maybe needs to get laid more often.

Or maybe some of us are taking the sport too seriously?

Agreed. Jamie had a working knowledge off moto & the riders...plus she was super easy on the eyes, which never hurt. I doubt the promotors now could beat the money she is probably making doing the NASCAR pit announcing now. Like the best riders, professional "personalities" will migrate to where they're most appreciated, and best paid.

Asking what it would take to win isn't a bad question at all. It's the rider's boring answers that are the trouble.

What kind of question is going to get a rider who rarely has anything interesting to say suddenly become interesting?

I doubt having new interviewers will change much.
