Thanks for the link

Dunno what the deal is but my video stops playing around the 13 minute mark with Chads mechanics holding his hands up, tried both with Opera and IE and same thing.

That is pretty interesting. So much of a different path than the factory bred amateurs like RC and Stewart. I really want to see the rest.

Hmmm, don't finish high school, have a big blue* with your dad, leave home at 18, take your teenage girlfriend to Europe, live in sin (by some people's definition), kick arse in FIM MX, go to America, kick arse in AMA SX/MX, make tons of money and become a World Champion.

*Aussie slang for "argument".

What a kick ass story!

Reed is going down as a legend in my book.

It worked for me once I put it on low quality ( and the quality was still pretty good)

That was a really good watch, reedy is so candid in his interviews the whole time. I wish they wouldn't have skipped over his outdoor achievements just because they weren't as good as his supercross.

It worked on low. Thats gotta be one of the best rider stories / interviews I've seen, great to see and hear about some of the behind the scenes stuff instead of just racing.

From their Facebook page about 7 hrs ago. Hopefully its fixed soon.

ESPN Aussies Abroad: Thanks for the heads-up everyone. We have alerted our technical boffins with clipboards & white lab coats! Will post back here when the issue is rectified. Apologies for the 14-minute teaser...

Froze at the same spot on low for me. I'm a big James fan but I'm quickly converting to Chad, not only for RACING THE OUTDOORS but every interview he has I think makes him fans. Very cool dude, or like his mechanic says "one bad dude!"

Good interview, touched on lotsa interesting aspects of his life and career.

One thing they missed, however, is the burning question that I've always wanted to ask. What's with tucking the ears in the hat?

So if Chad were 18 years old now, I guess he wouldn't be able to start his career by going to race GP's since he wouldn't have been on a team?

Reed interviews much better now than he did a few years ago.

I think his first ride in Europe was for factory kawasaki. I would say the Aussie championship is so well respected now that if your in the top 2 or 3 and have loads of potential, you should be able to land a ride.

OK, it was a factory team. But then why were he and Ellie leaving home in their own little camper without even knowing which way to turn out of the driveway for the first race?

I've been rooting for Chad ever since he started racing here in the states and I never once thought of him as being lucky. I didn't realize until seeing this video just how lucky that sumbitch is. Hell of a family he's got there. Good on ya Chad!
