Reed had an amazing career but he won't be a top 10 rider in 2020 imo.

Who the hell cares where he finishes !! Celebrate the career! Stop and say hi during the pit party. My God all of the negativity about where someone who's put more into this sport than most will finish astounds me!

Enjoy the last ride Chad!

Exactly. The fucker knows it too. Let him have his fun and cut a few last laps. If he is qualifying for mains, he is still better than 99.9% of the dickweeds that are chucking the sads

100%.

There isn’t anyone in that class who would give a shit. Racers can’t. Fast enough, good enough.

I have no fucking clue what “chucking the sads” means, BUT I like it, and I’m adding it to my vocab!

Thanks👍🏻

I just hope he doesn't call it a career after he qualifies for his 250th main at this coming A1. The way I see it, any races we are lucky enough to see CR22 do from here on out is extra gravy on a stellar career!

One of my favorite Reed shots, goes back years. 2007(?) US Open. GuyB photo I think?
Anyway, can't believe this guy raced MC, RC, JS, RV and RD in competitive manner... It's crazy to think about!

Chad looked like he was fighting getting really emotional during that pre-race interview...and I realized what a big deal it must be to hear the word “retire” finally come out of his own mouth after all these years of being a lion among lions. Our sport will feel the loss of not having Chad Reed on the starting line. He will be missed.

Congrats, Reedy!

Man it's hard to believe I was 13 years old when I started watching him on the 103 Yamaha coming here and dominating the 125 class right off the bat. Now I'm in my 30s and he's finally calling it a career. Say whatever you want, but the guy is one of the most basass dudes to ever throw a leg over a bike. He was the only one to challenge RC and Stew in their prime on the regular and give them fits. Racing would've been boring as shit during those years if Reed wasnt there. Cheers on a hell of a career

The second photo really puts it into perspective on how much he cared about racing. I’m happy that I got to see him race and hope...
