Probably testing a wp fork to match his rear suspension setup from last weekend.

I'm not sure which Chad Reed loves more.... Racing, or fucking with people... Wait, yes I do...

Reed was one of the very first mx'rs to figure out how to work the socials.

I saw several situations last weekend that lead me to believe he's headed in a faster direction.

If I remember correctly he shaved of about 2sec per lap from previous weekends. So he'll yes, a better suspension setup and stamina and he is a podium guy again.

Yeah, he's been roughly 3 seconds or so off the leaders since A1, but in Atlanta he was 1 to 1.5 seconds off. Massive improvement.

Curious to the logistics to why WP seriously just works better on the KTM/Huskys over the other brands.

Testing, testing, testing. The tubing itself, the way it flexes and where it's rigid was designed in conjunction with the weight bias of those bikes along with the characteristics of the chromoly steel frames themselves. Those bikes are not only lighter than any of their competition, the weight bias is notably different...the linkage ratios are a lot different as well when compared to the four Japanese brands which only have minor differences in that regard.

Bro, I heard you can just stick a two stroke in an ali frame and it's the best bike ever.

I think some of that might be bike set up.....but I think most of it is his foot / ankle feeling better week by week. Maybe?

Btw....interesting info from Michael above. And makes sense.

Makes me laugh too. Especially when people want to swap an rm into an rmz frame. The rms are easily one of the best chassis ever. Go thru all that work for what? Becuase aluminum is whats on the new bikes?

The mfgs spend so much time testing rigidity, durability, weight bias etc and people think hacking up frames is no big deal and that they are making an improvement.

Anyway back on topic lol

Me too... He was the worst I’ve ever seen him in first practice.. then had his best race of the season.
