My kid did the exact same thing this past weekend on his Supermini, BIGHEAD's face was all contorted and he had that 1000 yard stare again. I'm glad my kid wasn't there when he saw it, kinda made my hair stand up on my neck when he had that look!!!

This boys and girls is what happens when you tighten stuff too tight, or leave too loose, or put too narrow a spacer between two fixed tabs. OUCH!!!

I concur sir. The shock broke after the linkage tabs broke which let the shock come through the bottom while the suspension travel wrapped it around the swingarm. Also if this is a roached practice bike those tabs could have been pushed past their service limit.

I did that way back in the day on my '88 CR125. I actually missed LL's because I could afford to get it fixed.

Pro's practice bikes take a beating. I'd guess it's a practice bike. These things can happen after lots of hours with too little grease and a rider that pushes a bike close to it's limits.

I dont think the absence of grease was the issue there. That thing was flogged like identical threads started on race day.

Looks like some heat issues on the linkage tabs on the frame. Too tight perhaps?
