Everybody talks about Dungey banging bars with JS when the real battle will be between Reed and Dungey.
Looking forward to Saturday.
Looking forward to Saturday.
it should be those 3 and when villo works out that arm pump, those 4
The Shop
Reed couldn't put it together all day/nite at A1...never got on the poll (Top 5 lap-times) during timed practice.
I can see Windham, Short, Brayton and Hill beating -BOTH- Factory Kawi's on more than a few ocassions based on how they all looked throughout the entire day/nite.
(Stewart and Dungey are "A given"...)
This isn't what I necessarily WANT to happen; but, the boys in the Green Tent jus' don't look too good, yet.
I'm jus' sayin'...
If things around this board are anything to go by, it could be a Dungey vs Reed battle for the win, since Stewart will start to fade due to the number of people hanging from his sack....
Or how about we all stop being bitches and appreciate the talent that is on display without disrespecting any of the riders? Now THAT would be something....
I don't know what race you were watching but that was what my live wire stated.
JS was about .2-.3 faster than Dungey.
Sheesh!!!

And CR had the entire Aussie series.
RV has been testin' plenty and raced at the USSX.
Neither one of them looked anywhere NEAR as comfortable as the other names I brought up...hell...Shorty was hittin' the Trip's during his FIRST LAP of the Day...I've -NEVER- seen that outta him.
EVER.
I'll even throw it out there that it was, indeed, "A1"; and there are always "A1 Jitters"...
However, 8 minute "free-practice", -2- 15 minute "Timed" practices, 2 Heats, 1 LCQ and a 20 Lap Main give everyone plenty of time to get it figured out.
It gives me plenty of time to see who can "settle in" VERY, V-E-R-Y quickly...which is a "Pre-Requisite" this season.
Things have changed this year...
Remember to keep this filed away so that you can throw it in my face in a few weeks...
I'm jus' sayin'...
Who knows, I could be wrong and he'll show up for the rest of the series as the fastest guy...but judging the Chad Reed I've been watching for the past (however many years he's been racing over here), I don't see it in him.
Pit Row
Chad had to be race ready after all the riding he's been doing, with lots of racing to sort out bike setup....?
chads a noted foxer so we'll see what he has over the next few rounds......
mid 56 sec would of been good enough (consistently) to win....not sure how much the track changed in the main though?
O.K., then...after the 2nd timed practice?
I think it was: JS7, Dungey, Short, Brayton, Windham (Without lookin' it up...)
And, my real point was, how did he look out there? Did he ever look that comfortable while goin' fast?
At the end of the day...what I want is:
5 or 6 of those guys...battling it out for the win...especially between laps 15-20.
Again, I'm jus' sayin'...
Reed beat RC 6 times in a row (I think....possibly more) at the end of the 03 season, and I think just as many times in 05, when he DNF'd A1.
Sure, Stewart and Dungey will have to have a bad round for Reed to win the title, but I (and most others) would be shocked if he wasn't in the running for race wins.
After one shitty race especially???? Have you watched any other race involving Reed?
You've got to be kidding. This is kinda funny.
Post a reply to: Reed vs Dungey is the real battle
