I know... I know.... not another CR22 post but he dangled this carrot on Instagram. Looks like the back of a Kaw under the Discount Tire tent.... Muffler mount is the same in both pics.

Could he be testing one..?

Anyone else think he is going to wait until he is on the line at A1 to reveal his new bike? I've personally given up looking for an announcement. I'll still click on the threads because they are fun. I just hope he is training and working hard to catch back up with RV, RD, DM and company.

He tweeted he would be out testing....I cant imagine nobody went out to the test tracks to see if he was there....hell kawi you can see from the freeway its not exactly hidden....PLUS if he does ride a kawi through Mitch that leaves a prime spot for Deano to be reedys teammate when he gets on a 450

I dig Reed in being a business owner and competitive racer for 10+ years, but I strongly feel he missed the ship on the only bike he had a chance on still winning when he said no to Suzuki/RCH. He looked so good on the zuk before and I know he could have looked just as good again. I hope he proves me wrong, but I have a feeling he won't ever see the top step of the podium again.

Well the PC Mitch rumor comes to mind only because that is a Kawi and PC Pipe. But at this point who the hell knows? He will not wait until January to let us know.

If we all went running every time he yanked the chain we'd never get anything done. Besides, there are plenty of private test tracks. Without knowing which one he's at, it'd pretty much be an exercise in futility.

I'm clueless...but with Kawi losing the Ward team, they seem to have some budget left over...Reed trusts Payton and PC...Monster...

If you ask me, all things point to 22 Motorsports going to Kawi with factory support.

But I have absolutely zero inside information...just bench racing in its purest form.

Some dude was saying that his rig is parked at the PC factory not long ago. Reed has a good relationship with Mitch. I could see some sort of merger or partnership between PC and 22 Motorsports. I'd like to see that happen. I think Reed has a high apptitude to run a successful team but I think he could use some help from time to time also. I think this could give him a good balance between running the business side of things as well as the racing side.

I see what you did there... "zero" inside information... Spill it, he's just posting pics of KTMs and Kawis, but in an effort to actually get some testing/training done at home without his neighbors hassling him, he's really going to ride the Zero Electric MX bike.. Trying to throw everyone off by posting pics of radiators and exhaust when he really isn't going to have either of those.

I'm surprised no one pointed out that Reed made a quick trip to San Diego the same weekend Kawi had their dealer meeting in San Diego.

Reed+Metcalfe in SX.. Metcalfes moves to Canada for the summer.

Let me just add to the pile of bullshit that's piling up here.
My good friend is rider support for a large company, he was hanging with one of Reeds guys down in Florida last week and per "Reeds guy" Chad is riding every bike before he makes his decision(something we all already knew) but that he apparently REALLY LIKES the KX.
Could be total bullshit, could be truth but I know that in the past my buddy has given me good solid info
