Chad's going to be winning races and maybe the championship.. He's fresh, not burned out after the SX series, and he is comfy on the KX450F. He's been real quiet lately, makes you think he is getting focused.

From what I gather, it sounds like he is going to be cutting it fine just being ready for Glen Helen though. Real question for me is if he's not 100% at round one, can he race himself into shape without losing too many points and whilst building momentum and confidence.
"Ping: The goal is always to roll to the line at the first round 100 percent ready to go. In motocross, that doesn’t always happen. Chad Reed posted a video of him riding this week and commented about how bad his hands were going to be. Certainly Chad will be digging himself out of a hole right from the start as the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship launches in fifteen days. Even if his cardiovascular fitness is okay, there is no replacing seat time on the bike to build strength in your hands, arms, legs, back, and pretty much everything else. Not to mention his shoulder will still be somewhat weak and more susceptible to injury if he falls on it."
I don't believe that he gets top 3 at GH, or next 2 rounds. He's been bike only 2-3 weeks? And everyone else has 17 rounds of sx behind, still it's better than sitting in couch 2 months
IF James can keep his focus, and keep the rubber down, there is no doubt he can win it. He has before...has done 24-0 before...and has also crashed out by the third round. Which James Stewart will roll up to the gate at Glen Helen this year?
