Reed fill in for Wilson at Rockstar Husky for 2020 Supercross?

Pure speculation, does anyone think this makes sense or would even be a consideration?

Asking him today? That's not in the cards. He's having fun working with Mountain Motorsports and doing his own thing. I'm exporting a pre-race video from Paris press day where he talks about it. That'll be up soon.

The way I see it, he's heavily involved in ARMA Energy and absolutely blew out the energy drinks in a recent podcast with Matthes. He ain't joining a team that is gonna require him to be a billboard for an energy drink.

Are we really going to pretend that the things he said aren’t already common knowledge? It’s like proclaiming cigarettes are bad for you, everyone knows it, it’s not some big secret that’s being kept under wraps. Energy drinks are garbage, plain and simple, and if those companies are really under some sort of dillusion that we don’t all already know this they’re in for a world of surprise.

RS Husky still has 2 bikes on the track with Zacho and Jason, so yeah they don't absolutely need to fill Dean's spot.

I didn't say it was a secret at all...

But typically people don't make comments like that about companies and then turn around and try to get a paycheck from them.

I know you love to spend your time on here making others look dumb and yourself smart, but you misread this one bud....

Husky was a 2 man 450 team until Deano finessed them into running a three man team, so I doubt they’re that eager to fill a spot that was originally too expensive to have.

Wilson will probably be back by round 3-5. So I don't see the point when they already field 2.

Reed's outlook on SX is a little too relaxed at this point to be joining any big teams IMO.

I just think he's trying to bring in new sponsors.

Any plans of racing full supercross schedule? Or is it just Anaheim 1 still

Pretty sure he is racing A1 and retiring. Get his 250 starts and hang it up.

Sounds like he is trying to make them all with this Mountain Motorsports based on todays interview. But if he cant then he will do select races.

Don’t expect any “fill ins” at Rockstar Husky for the DW15 bike. From what I have heard, Dean is hoping to be back in the early rounds of SX

Yep.

I was not a fan of the bike alone, but the combo with the Fox gear makes it looking really good actually.

I hoe he does them all until and including 40 yo.
That would be cool but he has a while to go before 40.

DOB 15 March 1982

When was the last time we had a competitive 40 year old in SX? Ever?

I’m all onboard this topic is stupid because it’s stupid

But Reed has been training and is in shape. He’s not a bad option he’s probably the best or in top 3 best options for a sub

It’s not like Reed is gonna ride around for money, he’s a bitter piss and vinegar old man, he holeshots he’s gonna slit throats for a win and probably retire right after cause what a way to go out

Never was the last time....I’m an 82 baby as well. Competitive in my opinion is anyone who can make the night show. I think reed can make main events until 40 so why not.....🤷‍♂️

The sooner you give into age the sooner you get old.

I suppose Dowd would be the closest but he would have turned 40 in 2005 (??) and stopped SX a few years earlier. Scored MX points for a long time after that but 450 SX is a different animal.

Yeah he’s so underrated, I live what he did. Even if Reed wasn’t able to make mains at 40 it would be incredible just to see him out there trying. It’s a young mans game but some guys just never lose that competitive mindset.....I am not one of those guys 🤣

However he finishes, however many races he does, it's just cool to have the 22 on the track!

But, am I the only one who's annoyed he hasn't gone for a '92 Peak Pro Circuit throwback look?

Mcgrath was his idol, he's now on a Honda with PC parts, one main sponsor is white/ blue and the others main logo is literally a peak. Plus the arma/ boost logos go perfect for the orange/ yellow accents..
