Actually it's a vlog analysis of a controversial incident that could hurt the sport we love.. it would have been made regardless of what is posted on this website. I just put "responding to Vitards comments" in this thread Title to milk you for views. Thank$ for watching.

Well put together video brother. Some really good points.. *Edit Just watched the whole thing and it could do without the father comments and emphasizing the example he made for his kids. I know I've done some stupid shit in front of my kids in heated moments that I've wished I could take back--we all have--but all we can do is hope to do much more good than harm overall. I think Saturday was a heat of the moment deal Chad would probably ask for back if he could.

Great video man. I'm a Reed fan. Travelled to the US and watched his first 250 win in 03. I've always "put up" with his attitude as he's an Aussie going after it in the U.S. But that shit he pulled last night was bullshit. I'm kinda hoping he pulls the pin this year and retires. I wouldn't like to see his legacy ruined or he gets injured for the sake of his pride in trying to win one last race.

Im a Dungey fan. Chad is not the only reason Dungey is not winning folks. Tomac will win the title and Dungey will retire. It was a good run.

You might want to look at how much Dungey closed in on Tomac, was more like only 1.5 - 2 seconds.

And after Dungey got by Reed the lead was 4 seconds and ended up 8-9 seconds.

So why did it increase after he got passed Reeed?

Reed rode the sides with as much speed as Ryan He should have passed him sooner if he was much faster.

What I'm saying is Tomac's lead was at max 3.5 seconds or so before Dungey closed the gap to 1.5 - 2 seconds (still wasn't in a position to pass) imrpowers stated in his video that Dungey made up 4 seconds on Tomac.

I think Tomac would have upped his pace regardless if Reed held up Dungey or not, Tomac has been pretty smart with the races he has won and hasn't been pushed to the limit to win them in the end.

Out of reach? 4 seconds to make up in 4-1/2 minutes plus a lap. He made up the 1.5-2 seconds in 3 laps. Why didnt he do it again after passing Reed? He had plenty of time. He didnt drop his pace. But ET picked his up

Have you looked at lap times? Et didn't pick the pass up. Tomas last half of the race was actually slower than his first half of the race. Don't be so stupid. You know just like I know when Dungey WAS catching Tomac traffic wasn't bad. You really expect Dungey or any other riders for that matter to just drop hammer in lapped traffic like that?

Nice video and I agree with a lot of it. The negative role model for his kids thing or saying anything about him being a bad father though is highly inaccurate. I'm sure by the time his boys are young men and they are sitting around with pops having a beer they will probably all be joking around about this race as well as other emotion-fueled stints that Chad has had during his career. I 100% guarantee you that Chad's kids aren't going to grow up to be shitty human beings b/c they seen their dad hold up Ryan Dungey during a dirt bike race...let's get real here fella.

Seriously? If you had lost 20+ points in 4 consecutive weeks would you not drop the hammer and do everything you could to salvage what you have? Honestly....

A champion should have no issue passing a 16th place guy. Dungey brought it on himself with his stupid comments.

I am bummed that we were potentially robbed of a good race because of Chad's huge balls to mess with Dungey..

The points that Dungey has lost is irrelevant. Dungey is still the points leader. Have you ever lapped anyone before? Let me ask that again. Have you or anyone else posting on Vital ever had to lap or pass Reed? In the case Reed is blocking you. That was plain as day.

I would say he had the hammer down for him to get within 1.7 sec I believe it was at one point. Tomas did open a gap up to 3.4 sec over Dungey by lap 6. But by lap 13 Dungey closed the gap to 1.7 and stayed within 2 sec of Tomac for 3 laps while passing other lapped riders before the shit show open.

You and others can make assumptions on how Dungey wasn't going to catch Tomac. Those are facts above, he was in fact catching him. When Tomac noticed Dungey had now started closed the gap his lap times didnt get faster like some people have come to believe . After Tomac passed Reed he only got in the the 51 sec range twice from lap 17 on. The 6 other laps are all his slowest laps. So its fact he didn't just pull away from picking his pace up. Or dropping the hammer as you say.

Tomac had the same lappers. Watch the video Reed was at the sides in the whoops and Dungey in the middle did everyone want Chad to pull a Marvin and let aDungey not race for it?

Great video. I like how you called some people out on here lol. Thanks for sharing, I agree w/ it all.

I still think Dunge was catching ET3 because he was feeling it that night. I think he may of had something once he caught ET3, but I guess we'll never know thanks to Chad! Damn, Reed has always been my favorite rider, but not anymore. I'm so pissed at him now, I don't think I'll be pulling for him anymore. He can just go ahead & retire. He showed his true colors & what a little bia he really is. It just wasn't right.

I didn't even watch.

It's a "jump the shark" moment for the forum community. There's no putting the toothpaste back in the tube now. Time to get ddavis his own vlog.
