I saw in a thread he has got his own Honda, does that mean he is not racing for JGR (I assume so)? and not racing the whole SX series ....anyone know for sure?

From what we know, if he doesn't get a ride then A1 is his last race.

Pretty crazy when a multi time champ with a huge number of race wins and fan favorite can't get a ride for his farewell year.

Sport has gone to shit.

Gonna line up at A1 to get his 250th start then throw in the towel is the rumor.

What a bummer. As much as I can understand...I hate to see him go. The last remaining racer from my personal favorite era of SX.

Fickle dicks around here. He hasn’t PISSED anyone off to not hire him. It’s a matter of musicals chairs and he doesn’t have one. Old fake rumor about people hating him.

If he only plans on going to A1, have some real fun and show up on a 2 stroke. See how many 4's you can take down in your final race.

Wouldn't say the sport has gone to shit just because CR22 can't get a premier factory team. I believe it's due to how pack the field is these days. What's is it, like the top 18 in supercross are factory/factory support riders? And dont forget about the talent in the lites class. There isnt too many sports where you are still able to compete in when you're 37

I agree, it is a fact of life in sport that at some certain stage you will be unwanted by teams.

I actually hope some sponsors come on board for him to do more than 1 round but then again he is probably at a point where that does not really interest him anymore to do it in that way.

People were saying HEP wasn’t going to be on Suzuki next year.....Mathes posted in another thread Savatgy is testing with JGR this week. Maybe Suzuki isn’t done with MX.

If he goes that route, then he needs to talk to Honda and get MC's/Kenny's bike from last weekend.

It would be sweet, but I’m sure Chad is going to want that 250th start record. Then again... what better way to do it than on a 250cc. 😎

A JGR mechanic, a new brand (not Suzuki)...

Wouldn't that also leave the possibility that JGR is exploring other brands than Suzi?

If they were to find some funding from another title sponsor, they can run any brand they want.
They have been (in the past) the least factory-dependent of the top tier teams.

Pretty sure that bike isn't legal to race SX

Possibly, but I think if they found a sponsor they would stay with Suzuki...interesting thought though

Wasn't Ben on his Instagram earlier this week helping move all his old race bikes into the garage? Could be the case
