It's not just Reed...the coverage and story-lines have been limited to very few racers this year. Last year the focus was spread out through the field in a more consistent manner.

Once the cross flags were gone he had some laps where he was making ground on WP, JG, and CW. He had an outside shot at 4th but lost the drive late.
He sucks getting over the gate. Even with a decent jump, he loses ground by the first shift.

Look at his heat- only .400 or so slower then kennys fastest lap..
In the main he was 5th fastest lapbtime while in traffic.. once he sorts his corner speed n starts i think he will surprise a few

I was happy with his last 2 races and he has qualified strat from some pretty stacked heats. If he was slightly more aggressive in passing he would be regularly top 5 i think.

His biggest issue is getting stuck behind a rider and taking a few laps to pass him.

I thought his jump was OK(not great), but watch as he crosses the gate structure, he spins or bounces a loses lots of time.

sure is.. but if he gets it like he did on the honda in 2011-12 and kawi in 14.. who knows how fast he can go.. def nothing like he was in sydney..

He pulled all but one holeshot that I saw in Sydney.
