New interview and all, we still have not got a clear picture of what is going on. I'm feel for him! He is team owner, top rider, and needs to be politically correct for his sponsors but that interview told us nothing at all. It was like listening to Jay Carney for gods sake.
And to think people say Stewart is done.. I dont know where that puts Reed.
One feels attempted to suggest him being "done", but based on how poorly he's doing, still going, the illness must be the cause for this pale version of Reed. Curious how this put the lid on really helps though? People in doubt have a tendency to make it worse?
I really hope he heals up, and that's something you can heal from? Whatever the issue seems to be (bowel?)...
But really, this is Reedy's cycle. He goes from Top, to Bottom, Top, to Bottom........he finds it in himself somewhere and comes back on top. All the guy needs is one confidence boost race and it lights a fire under his ass.
The Shop
Once is hits the podium again the bandwagon will be overflowing.
Chads a great rider..all the best.
Dude is sick. Bottom line.
Pit Row
Epstein Barr Virus......Look it up.
Chad Reed has it and it has probably flared up again.
As a yamaha fan, I sure hope he's on yamaha and that's what is holding him back. It would be a bummer for another year to be wasted by the EB virus but he certainly has eluded to it. If he goes to yamaha, I wonder if Yamaha will give him two factory backs. Maybe even let him expand to the 250 class. That way everyone can say two two is running two riders in two different classes.
If he is on the outs with honda, he already has a deal with yamaha and this is the "lame duck" period......
I'm never surprised to see the same character trait running rampant within his fan-base.
Not the Bike... Thanks good interview Vital!
