Have to admit my grandparents live down the street from LaRocco in Buchanan,Mi which is minutes away from red bud, the fans camping do not mess around and are big with fireworks friday and saturday night, seems out of control but a damm good time, they even have a saturday night race on the property which is really exciting im sure people on this site can share some stories!

Indiana has a great place on I-80. Shelton, Worlds Largest Fireworks store... or something or other. everytime I go to Chicago its mandatory to spend at least 500..

I use to stay at the track every year on my annual pilgrimage to RedBuddd. Don't plan on getting any sleep AT ALL if you stay anywhere near the place. Good time if you drink, nightmare if you don't.

It's crazy to be sure, but if you stay at the bottom of the hill it's not issue and you get to enjoy the wasted money of others and get a decent night's sleep.

So at 46 I'm driving a float in parade tomorow and riding a bike in another Sunday .

Just walked through the camping areas. It's...interesting.

I get that the cops have to be tough, but some fair would also be nice.
