How did the acl replacement go? I have went two of the past four years but am sitting this year out because I didn't want to deal with crutches and getting around on them.

It went well. The Patellar tendon that was used during the first replacement looked so good he just repositioned that instead of grafting a new one from the hamstring. The meniscus was too bad to fix so he just cleaned it up so it won't get caught in the joint any more. I can bend it about 75 degrees and put about half my body weight on it. The greatest thing is not having to re-stretch everything like the hamstring and a new ACL. I think I'll be waking 4 weeks after surgery (2 1/2 weeks from now)

Dang! I missed this thread before I posted mine!

Good Evening my fellow moto lovers.

This could potentially be a Role Call for Redddddd Buuuuddddd!

The woman and I are making an appearance this weekend. Some of you may remember her from my post with the wicked sweet signed helmet she bought for me along with this photo:



We are getting in town late Wednesday and staying until Sunday. We will be hanging out and working with Team Gus in the pits so definitely swing by and find me to say hi.

Do you guys know of anything cool going on Friday night? If not, want to make something cool with our own barley pops and fire crackers? I hear its fun.

Either way, get a hold of me. I would love to cause some crazy shenanigans before and after the race. If you are attending and have a stand up jet ski, bring it on out! If we can get a group together we are planning on doing a little water moto on Thursday and Sunday.

I look forward to a great cheers with friends and bench racing.

Great, sounds like your recovery time will be smooth then.
He used a cadeavor tendon in my knee and repaired the meniscus as well. I have an 1.5" incision with 8 stitches which will be taken out tomorrow during my first post op visit. I can't straighten mine but can bend it well, I guess that's why therapy is so important. It wasn't like all the horror stories I kept hearing for sure.
