Sweet Lord! If you guys are looking to camp at the track, get em while you can! They opened up Camping sales at 12 noon and Parking lot 2 was sold out by 12:28. Just a FYI

Did you see the trackside lots 1a and 1b at $700 each sold out in a few minutes? Lot 1 at $500? Lot 3 will have to do for me.

I got in on lot 4 being cheap. If I had the right set up I could justify the 700$ trackside but man that's a lot of money. Even if its half as good as the last one it will be worth every penny.

I got a spot in lot 4 by preference. Closer to the wild side of things. Same walking distance as lot 3. $300 is so cheap for the entire weekend. Hotel was $900 for 3 nights and zero experience fun

Lol they are all party lots. 5 has strippers and free cocaine. 4 is next to the night track for the pit bike race. 3 is good also. 1 & 2 are closer walk since no golf carts allowed

I was there in 18'. I camped in lot 3. I want one there again.
I can't remember where the "fence" was for the party lots when we wandered down to party. And I must have missed the line for the free blow. I had to pay!Woohoo

We'll be in Lot 4. We bought Lot 3 last time and when we arrived they said, too bad all spots are gone and put us on the back fence in Lot 5. It worked out though because we were first in line to get out of the absolute muddy shit show.

We made it about 20 ft before we got stuck but the plan worked. We figured if we could get the rig stuck in front of the exit we'd be first to get a tow. Some random dude just hopped in a tractor (not his tractor btw) and started charging people $20 to pull them out. Memories for a lifetime.

Lookin forward to it!

Just purchased a spot, the only options that are not sold out already are lots 4 and 5. So lot 4 it is for us.

Shit, I wish I would have checked earlier this morning I did not think they would sell out so quickly.

We have never been to Red Bud, so no idea what to plan for as far as food and drink.

Are there food trucks or food vendors that are there on Friday/Saturday/Sunday just for the camping areas?

Or is it just the food vendors that are inside the track on Sat/Sunday?

Are there any nearby grocery stores if we run out of anything, or are we just stuck with whatever we bring? I don't imagine trying to leave in an RV on Saturday evening to make a grocery store run is realistic anyways...?

There are food vendors for sat/sun just like any other national.

There is a small town with grocery and gas stations about 10 mins away but there is practically no chance of u getting out of there in a motorhome during that day on saturday unless u get lucky and have a ton of cars and trucks parked near u instead of other motorhomes. If u have an extra car/truck u would be fine.

Yeah me and my buddy both completely forgot. We would have wanted lot 2 with the kids but we are in lot 4 so hopefully it's not stupid.

We were in lot 4 in 2018 and it was perfectly fine. Lot 5 was where the wildness was going down and it seemed fairly contained to that area.

Travel question for those of you who have been already, sorry to switch from camping topic... is Chicago better to fly into that South Bend? First timer to Red Bud for me and the boys and just want to try the most convenient route.

We showed up on Friday last time and our reserved spot was gone. I mentioned it earlier but they put us in the back of B Lot. Turned out super fun but if you want to make sure you get your assigned location, I would show up Thursday.

It was absolute chaos when we got there (prob 9pm). We got to the gate and they just said "go to the back and take what you can get". Then some dude jumped in the side door of our RV and did a beer bong then jumped out, all while moving.

How bad was lot 5 in 2018? I got a site in lot 5 without knowing it's a party lot. I'll have my 67 year old dad with me and I'm nervous about how dumb people will be.
