No more BYOB in the track and the trackside parking on the southwest corner of the track has become a reservation purchase. I suppose I could see the handwriting on the wall after MXON in regards to bringing beer in. The reservation method for that parking area is nice because you don't have to get to the track at zero dark thirty anymore. On the other side of the coin they took away the spectator lane in that area and it costs $100 to get a spot on the fence. $$$
The Shop
Seems like it's a good way to nickle and dime fans away from the track and onto the couch.
Anyhow assuming payouts will go up as promoter is taking in more cash???
Pit Row
Most fans only attend their "hometown" Nationals, so in all reality, they have a year to scrap together and save a few hundred bucks for a national event.
Those bitching about the prices are the folks that go unplanned, or are just cheap, and they get sticker shock.
National motocross races are still some of the best bang-for-you buck events and having VIP options brings more revenue into the sport.
I really didnt like the moving of The Leap and that "Hockey stick" section and if they keep that roller as you lead up to Larocco's Leap then the track will be a shell of itself compared to my first trip there 5 years ago.
