Hey, so I just installed my Bridgestone fim enduro tire after and hour and a half of torture to realize that I think the tire may be on the wrong way. I installed it the way it looked right but I’m not sure. Here’s a picture... any help appreciated as I need to know asap!! I can’t tell if that’s meant to be a directional arrow or not. It looks right to me but that arrow is pointing opposite. Thanks! (Photo taken from rear of bike) thanks.

I would assume that is a directional arrow. I'm sure a tire expert will come on and let you know for sure

What you lose in traction you will make up in braking haha
It is a directional arrow, flip it over when you get the chance, it’s not like a paddle style tire or anything so it won’t make a huge difference.

I can't see all of the knobs but usually the biting edge is straight and square. Do the other knobs that are out of sight reverse from the direction they are in the picture?

But on my old enduro tire the flat side was biting the ground( it was square shaped)

The knobs form scoop when installed correctly, they form a chevron when installed as shown. Might not have as good straight line traction but maybe it sheds mud better this way?

Yes that's a directional arrow. If the picture is of the right side of the tire, it's on the right way. If it's the left side, it's on backwards.

I’ll be riding woods with a lot of soft muddy ground... what do you think?

The beads not set anyway, change the direction.

I’ve ridden with a rear tire on in reverse and it does make a difference. Did it work? Yes. But it was 80% effective and skated around a bit much (in my opinion)

I always noticed when flipping directional tires they were quicker when in the wrong direction. as far as setting your bead if you don't have a valve stem in the rim take a blow gun and blow air into tire and it will pop through the valve stem hole.

Someone sold you a left hand tyre for a right hand rim.

You should be seriously concerned about personal safety, pretty much unsafe at any speed...

Something tells me that it wouldn't make any difference for you even if it was bald and flat.

For future reference, directional tire info is often available online. Here it is for your tire.
