MXA also had a press release on it. I would like to hear from someone that has used it or knows someone that has.

I've had one on a 450 for 2 years. There is a very distinct feel of the bike going forward without any rotation around the pitch axis, nor do I feel any squat, and the bike consistently launches very straight.

KYB engineer actually did the design work on the one Kawasaki tried, and I think it was earlier than that... like 02, maybe?

Phil Lawrence's uncle first came up with the idea of a rear holeshot device 20+ years ago. I'm amazed the idea never took off until recently. He was certainly way ahead of his time!

1st tested on the SR450 about the same time as the other/alternate shock location...?
'02 would been on a 250SR (2T)?

I was up on the start right before the first main event and saw a lot of riders setting the front holeshot devices. Saw more than one motorcycle's rear wheel come off the ground in the process. Don't remember seeing that before.

ML512-Please tell Ross and the crew I said hello please.

My preliminary take away so far that the rear holeshot device has yet to catch on. As height challenged as many riders are (to the point of needing starting blocks) I'm surprised shorter riders aren't using this just to lower the seat height.

My daugther's been using one for the last 2 years. She used to need starting blocks (5'4''), She hasen't used them since. Really help with her confidence having both feet on the ground and stable.

I have a video I filmed from a WMX start at the KROC last year, if you watch it in slow motion we can clearly see both rider side by side letting go the clutch at the same time but the other rider's bike rotate for a fraction of second while my daughters launching out of the gate. That was a full bike length ahead 20 feet from the gate. It doesn't always work that good but that time was a perfect example on how these thing can works.
