My buddy asked me if I wanted to spin a few laps on his yz125 today...so I grabbed the gopro and ran before he had time to change his mind haha. Thought you guys may enjoy the helmet cam footage! I've also posted a few bike review videos on the channel since I last posted here, so if you guys are interested in hearing how the 2019 YZF450 and 2019 KX450F compare to my CRF450R, feel free to check those out as well!

Nice, you were making that thing sounds so sweet.

Edit: spelling
So overall......what did you think? Maybe get a 125 later down the road? I know I sound like a broken record on here about it , and I wish more guy's would give these bikes a chance.....but damn man , I swear they are the best training tool ever made for this sport. And if you can get one going at a good pace on a track , you should be able to get anything going at a good pace. fast guy , or slow guy.....they can sure teach you ( or at least help keep the skills in check ) , for anyone.
Pit Row
I get shit from a few dude's here and there ( most all are 450 rider's ) , and even though I don't want to ride the 450's any more ( and I proved I could be competitive on them when I did ) , what's really funny is watching some of them try to ride a 125......they can't. The guy's that really struggle on them , are usually the one's to give me the most shit. Which honestly I don't care. And it put's the biggest smile on my face when I go out there and put in better lap times then they do , on my 125.
I seriously advise every vet rider out there to get one of these things! I swear to god , if you give them a chance , practice , and willing to be humbled a bit until you start to get them down....you can have the time of your life.
Glad to hear you're having a blast on yours!
And I do agree, midseason last year during injury, I changed this to this:
Rode the same qualifiers/finals and i was still fighting the "regular pack" at the races. I actually did a little better because I had more stamina left after 15-20min than what I had on my 250f.
AND! hitting uphill jumps wfo 4th/5th gear hanging of the fender, always tapping the rear brake is a freaking awesome feeling and boost for the ego. And all the people that come up and talk to you how awesome it is to hear some wide open 2strokes.
