Rank your top 5 national tracks based on what you like, what you've seen, and what makes for truly good motocross, try to ignore the epic things we have seen at each of these...which tracks are good for motocross in your opinion...(inevitably a war will break out...hehe)

1. Red Bud - never been there but great racing, great track prep, and encompasses american moto
2. Southwick - a truly unique experience that showcases skill, and never gets 1 lined
3. Millville - I have ridden this monster in the past, the sand whoops, the elevation, the layout, great for motocross fans
4. Budds Creek - This track is great for racing, big jumps, fast up and downhills...wide lanes...
5. Washougal - beautiful track but not always the best dirt...can get one lined...

The throw aways...
1. Steel City - i know its 'legendary' but the track sucks...bad dirt, bad layout, bad jump combos, off-camber everywhere...
2. Hangtown - again, classic, but crappy dirt/layout IMO, feel free to disagree

off camber everywhere makes a throwaway? Off camber turns are as moto as a shift lever.

My favorite track is Unadilla. I know many don't like it but I love "The Gravity Cavity" and "Screw You". It has been my favorite track to watch since I was a kid.

2nd It would be Glen Helen but since it is no longer a national I will go with Red Bud.
3. Freestone It is not my favorite design but it is close to my house and I have raced there and been to the nat several times.
4. Hangtown The only other national I have been. I was standing in the turn when Alessi and Langston collided.
5. Budds Creek I love the layout.

Thunder Valley is a great layout I think, and the altitude makes it a little more interesting.

1. Unadilla--a man's track, rough, great layout, awesome history.
2. Washougal--perfect scenery, perfect soil, fast speeds.
3. High Point--great elevations, RacerX home track, usually early in the season.

Losers.

1. RED BUD--obnoxious fans yelling "Red Bud" every 5 seconds, everyones drunk, obnoxious fans yelling "Red Bud" every 5 seconds.
2. Thunder Valley--barren wasteland situated between 2 freeways, heart attack risk walking around track.
3. Souther CA--Pala, Elsinore, Glen Helen?? Hot, dusty, and everyone is way too "cool"...

This post is lacking in Character and is an obvious effort to Berate a Track that kicked someone's ass...

Also, if we're going to go back in time...

The Real Hang-town!
Carlsbad
Sears Point
...and the race that Roger put on in HOLLISTER!

BoooooYah!

Yeah thats why theres always a surprise winner like the time Larry Ward waxed JS or the epic Battle between RC and JS or the the year long winning streak being crushed by K-dub on that tricky soil-

Washougal is a great track that requires a lot of skill out of those guys-

I was going to say that the Hollister Hills track looked awesome.

What about Mid Ohio? That track looked cool.

1. Red Bud. Mans track with ruts and roughness that is picturesque. Has the best dirt of any track. Period!
2. Steel City. Great viewing and always great racing there.3.
3. Unadilla. Great track with alot of moto history
4. Glen Helen I always loved the big elevation and long lap times with the big jumps and Talladega turn
5. Broom Tioga Enough said

Tracks that should be taken off the nationals:

1. Hangtown I know it has been a mainstay but the track looks always horrible and none of the riders care for it.
2. Troy I was glad to see it gone, SX track in a corn field.
3.Thunder Valley Now I know what racing on the moon looks like. It was cooler when they raced at night.
4. Gatorback I know it was a SE national but the track always looked shitty not like it is now.
5. Southwick There are alot of other great sand tracks in the Mid West that are more traditional sand then there.
