Random Question Factory Honda 96/97

Random question, did Jeremy have a 250 teammate in 1996? I know Doug Henry rode for them in 95 but went to Yamaha for the rest of his career after that. And as for 1997, I know Lamson rode some 250 supercross races on that 250 after Jeremy left but did they have a full time 250 guy? And I know they hired Ezra Lusk for 98 and he was super fast and competitive with Jeremy. Couldn’t find any info on this. Thanks!

Wow so they had no one riding the 250 outdoors for 97? That’s crazy. I guess Jeremy leaving so late didn’t give them much time to sign anyone else. They should’ve signed Larry Ward. He was killing it at that time and said he liked the 97 CR on the Whiskey Throttle Show.

Yes, Lamson raced 125’s against Carmichael in 97. Larocco was still on Suzuki in 97. Then FC Honda started in 98.

What got me thinking about this today was how Honda has made some stupid decisions letting riders go over the years. They wouldn’t re-sign Henry after his injury in 95 after he had won them 3 or 4 titles, they promised Albertyn the world in 94 and backed out last minute, they lost Jeremy in 97 and Ricky in 04.
