We were at Glen Helen yesterday, finishing up the third day of our 250 Shootout, and there were a wide variety of riders on the track.
Bas Vaessen has been putting in laps on a 450 out here. He was one of the MX2 riders scrambling to find a ride for '18 after Suzuki shuttered their GP efforts, but will be on a Honda next season. He tried our '18 250F at the first day of our shootout, and came off the track fairly giddy...and that was just the stock bike. Unfortunately, with our heavy schedule of testing, we couldn't get him back on the bike yesterday, but he was still getting in his time.
Aaron Plessinger was on a 450, and looking pretty smooth out there, despite there being quite a few "rolling chicanes" out on the track.
Over at Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Supercross track just outside of the Talladega turn at GH, Martin Davalos was working on his sixth day of Supercross testing back on the green bike, and Ivan Tedesco (who Pro Circuit loves as a test rider) was also putting in laps.
Doug Dubach has won a pile of Vet World titles, and he was getting ready to go for more this weekend. We'll be out there Sunday checking out the action.
