True, Colorado is has wacky weather. This looks like a big storm, so who knows. I'd love to se a True muder this season, but I'd rather watch it on TV.

Anyone else watch that video from Scottie and end up completely confused? Was that supposed to be a race? I'm guessing so since there was a gate drop, but half the time it looks like he's going between fencing or he's off on the access road on the side of the track. I thought I was watching replay of Villopoto from last year...

Even when it does rain here it never stays around very long. The clouds come over the mountains, rain for a bit, and then the clouds move out on the plains and dump. This is the high desert here people.

Every now and then you do get a cloud that just camps in one place, saturates the ground, and eventually causes a flood.
See the 1997 Ft. Collins flood for example, or more recently http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_Colorado_floods
But then again, seeing your location, you already know about it :-)

What's up with racer x?? On their Instagram and Facebook, they count down the days till High Point. With no mention of Thundervalley coming this weekend. Wtf did I miss?

Not to be a hater, but wouldn't the muddier kill some privateer budgets? I would think motor damage could be extensive depending on the amount of rain, and we all know how expensive that can be. Realistically, if you were struggling to get from race to race would you risk it this weekend and race or not if the weather is terrible?

I love a good mud race just as much as the next guy, but this was a thought that crossed my mind.
