That ktm was pulling the Yamaha up the hill on laps 2 and 5. Villipoto is no OG out having fun, he’s a rabid dog trying to get back past. Great racing by both.

Wow! RV2 not only the fastest retired racer ever but maybe the bravest. A lot of fight in the old guy. They got so close!

Big screen, surround sound, and shrieking 125’s make a great combo. What a race! Loved the alternate lines and aggressive riding by both riders. Must have been epic in person!

Wow. How is this not on TV?

Better than all the televised Motos, and they were GREAT races.

That was so damn cool! No complaints about the 250 and 450's but this is what moto has been missing for way to long! This needs to be a championship.....time to make it official!

Why not? There used to be 3 classes, and seperate nationals for each. They were the days. Sigh.

Damn thats some fine racing Tongue

A showcase how fast dudes on less powerful bikes always provide more exciting, safer, and better racing.

Like someone above mentioned, that KTM was pulling Villos Yamaha in a straight line quite noticably but who knows if it was just pure engine power or the fact that Varize was like half the size of Villo, or a combination of both Woohoo

God Bless 2 strokes! That was incredible. I'll bet that Varize was on cloud 9 after beating RV.

That was an awesome race and made my day! Now I know how my 125 is supposed to go around that track Smile .
I liked watching the full race via GoPro!

It would be awesome if they would broadcast part of the 250 and 450 races live from the helmet cams. I know it can be done. I'm grateful for the 125 race videos. Just throwing another idea out there.

I have been following Jammin Josh Varize for several years, since he was in 65cc, future top rider.

I don’t know how he’s not up yet, he’s a very talented rider, very fast, and very good guy. The first year he went to the MEC in 85 finished on the podium, third,

AWESOME! There is more racing in this one moto than the entire 450 sx season. How is this not an official class beats me, and why is it not televised?

I really hope these 125 races at the nationals turn into a showcase of our upcoming amateur talent.

Since the first time I saw him ride in the live streams of Loretta I started following him. That he isn't pro yet I can understand. Because he stayed very long, pretty small. That was also the reason why I noticed him. On a 85 he was riding with much control and technique because he couldn't muscle that bike around. If KTM doesn't think that he's ready to race in their pro roster in 2020, then maybe Roger should make him race some EMX250 races. High level racing without pressure.

This is one of the most important reason's why I push so hard for this class. It's the most important stepping stone from an 85cc / super mini rider , to be able to jump on a full sized bike with a motor they are familiar with. And then to preform in front of some huge crowds on a rough national track.

In the GP's , they know / understand how important this class is , and it grooms the rider's for what comes next in their career's. Hell , the GP's even have the EMX 250 class , which is a even a step between 125 and the full on MX2 class. We throw our rider's strait into the lion's den , except for a few amateur national's , which get no televised broadcast.

I've been pleading for years for a 125 national championship. And even though I love our National series , unfortunately the GP's have their shit figured out when it comes to our youth in the sport.

Excellent point and logical too.

Came across this by chance on YouTube last night, couldn't believe what I was seeing. What a race! Villo is a legend and Varize has a very bright future.

Time for 3 classes, 125, 250F and 450F.
