I like the idea behind these protectors. For those that have them, can you offer pros and cons ?
Are they heavy?
Breathability?
Has anyone taken a huge hit / get off wirh the RXR bullet or new rxr pro 2.0? were there noticeable marks on the protector yet you were good ? Or vice versa...
Has anyone wore both the bullet and pro2.0’s? Which do you like best ?
I’m currently running a fox chest protector but, it’s just plastic. Air bladder dispersement I think will offer better protection probably at the cost of some weight and breathability ?

Protection is top notch, but (thankfully) I’ve never had a big crash on them.
They do block the wind, so they feel a bit wormer, but not a big difference for me.
I feel like they are the most protective, but also feel a bit bulkier.
The Shop
I got the new Pro version this year and I find it to be pretty comfortable. It’s vented better than the previous versions they’ve had, much thinner, and more comfortable than earlier products they’ve made. Last weekend it was close to 95 degrees and extremely humid and I wasn’t bothered by it being “too hot”.
Ive been wearing the nicer fly chest protector over the jersey the last 6 months or so and just cannot get comfortable with it, it feels like when I Bmx with a backpack on. Last week both buckles broke so I just rode without it and my form and technique were so much better
Best protection I've ever worn and I have comfortably crashed with it a fair few times.
I’m very used to it but it definitely can be hot, but I won’t ride without it, ever.
It’s taken direct impacts that I’m sure would have broken bones or done internal damage.
