Full Pro Circuit treatment. Pingree went over the 125 All Star bikes at Hangtown.

2 minute mark is RV's 125.

probably port polish, matched cases, increased compression is probaly the one that most guys dont do as it adds power but cuts down life to like 3-4 hrs

What spring? I'm out of the loop on this.

I’ve got a CR500 sounds like a good mod. Will have ex-wife try it out.

If its serious it's a long rod crank maybe some inertia added and crank trued and slip fit, hybrid bearings, 38 carb, shaped transfers, near zero squish at max rpm, 2 piece head, treated trans, spark plug depth set, custom pipe and custom ignition tune. Thatd be good for well over 40hp

I doubt it's that far gone though

No wonder Villopoto looks so happy now days.. he's livin the life for sure.
I wonder..hypothetically speaking, if they brought back the 125 national championship and ran it on the sunday of each national round, would guys like him and Mike Brown compete in It?
Some dumbass would likely insist on some bullshit age limit on it for sure I guess...because policies of exclusion, so as to limit rider participation , so as to benefit some power broking entities, seem to be the way things are done in this sport..

Ripping 125s and pounding beers on the top step of the podium. RV is living the life. I'm happy for him that he's still so involved with the sport and is enjoying his time doing it.

I think it was a joke? i.e. the throttle spring under the slide so it's always WFO.

I think anyway lol

I thought it was obvious, however in the era of fuel injection perhaps not.

I’ll tell ya, I know Kawi has McGrath now, but sheesh, letting RV go to Yamaha, I honestly believe RV has brought a lot more exposure to the brand, especially with the two stroke deal. And I absolutely love seeing that HUGE smile on RV’s face all the time. That is bad ass that he’s really enjoying himself. Big thumbs up here.

When RV was on the Pulp show the other night, Matthes said something like "Man RV you're bike sure sounded really good..." just the way he was saying it was real sarcastic and made it sound like he was calling RV out on his motor work, but he didn't dwell on it or pin him down about it...

Given RV's lackluster streak coming into last weekend, would it really be that surprising if he ran a big bore as an extra insurance policy? RV not winning would've been a bad look. Who's gunna tear down the man? at washougal let alone

I wonder if anyone has bought a new yz 125 just because of what Villopoto is doing? It's certainly possible...
He's for sure giving Yamaha better exposure than Cooper Webb is..
I bet that if Yamaha had an all new yz 125 for 2019, with Ryan doing his thing, sales woukd be brisk!

the pics always look wrong to me, like someone pshopped his head...

like mcgrath, "brand ambasadors" to brands they were/arent known for and spent much time during their full time racing careers smashing them up, its lol to me..
