Just another RV2 post. I was thinking.... I know its his first year over there and everything in the racing environment is different: tracks, bike, parts, terrian, competition, food ect. But after seeing him ride the first handful of rounds and seeing his results I'm wondering how much he is missing Mike Williamson. Wasn't Williamson his mechanic for like 6 years. I believe they won every 450SX/MX championship in which RV stayed healthy when they were together. Talk about a mans best friend. Williamson seemed to know RV better than anyone when it comes to knowing what he wanted, Bike setup ect. Just a thought anyways.

It's over. RV ain't coming back. If he did, Williamson wouldn't make a difference. Mechanics just make the changes, they don't figure out what needs to be changed.

I'm no insider so I couldn't tell yeah if he is or not. But yeah, you could be right, but I'd hope not. I just thought that he was the one thing that was always consistent with him, was Williamson. Other than RV being RV.

He may provide some sort of comfort for RV, but that would be all.

Maybe if his bike didn't stall on the line on his first attempt or he had the setup dialed to his liking it may have went better. Huh

Or maybe if everybody gave him a clear run at the holeshot and didn't get in his way on tracks made for a field of mx racers.

Or maybe if he went with a truly competitive bike and team

Or maybe if had just a little bit more time in Europe before the season

Isn't it old yet guys?

Yes I felt your sarcasm, at least that's what I hope as that's why I quoted you.

I'm thinking it is a strange choice to not come back to ride at all this season (and stay in the States) if he has any intentions on having another crack in '16........... every track he rides is experience and practice.........

If I was laying money on it ....i'd say thats it
