Anyone see RV2's most recent Instagram post...holy shit is he flying right now! He says he's prepping for the Aussie SX but he hashtags something about Monster Cup. To me, he looks as fast as he ever was....SX in 2019 anyone?!?!

He does look great. How many laps is monster cup? I’m sure the training part doesn’t sound very fun to a retired guy enjoying himself, but that doesn’t mean he won’t get himself ready.

he could be a top 7 guy for sure. Not only does he look fast.. he's smooth and controlled and thats a deadly weapon for rv2. Id love to see him come back and say yea whats up im back mother effers. The difference between rv and dunge was rv was out for a vengeance. He wasn't in the lead he made sure he charged his ass off and made it happen. Where dunge just waited for the guys to fall off and his fitness and consistantience paid off. Both great for our sport and great role models for our kids.

I always like to start the all time list from MC era on because of how different it for those guys back in the day. Two separate list makes the debate easier. I have RV 3rd all time behind MC I could see him in 2nd though because of how he dominated MXDN, Sx and moto when he was actually healthy for those series. We really missed out on him outdoors. Could have had a handful more tiltes

He came out for practice at the Monster Cup a couple of years ago to see where he would have qualified at, but didn't race. You never know though with RV

If he set his mind on truly winning and prepped for it, I don't really see any reason why he couldn't win anything he wanted too. Especially without the pressure that pushed him out of the sport right in the middle of his prime. He knows what it takes to do it, not like that has changed in the last 3 years. I don't expect him to to do that necessarily, but he could if he wanted too.

Damn, it looks good. The rear end steps out to the right in the whoops and he just steers it left to setup perfectly for the next corner. I would say that he is feeling pretty good.
