There is no question in my mind, that KX450F is the BADDEST OF THE BADDEST on the track.

(Doesn't mean he is going to win though. At least he will have the Red number plate for A1)

I thought the points leader gets the red number plate? Assuming it's the first race of the new season shouldn't there be no red number plate?

The point leader having the red plate is only the case in Motocross, where the past years champion starts the series/first round with it.

In Supercross, the past years champion has the red plate for the entire series, it does not change hands week to week with the points lead (although I and many others think it should)

nope.

this year it goes to the current points leader.

since RV won the c-ship, he will run it for A1. after that, it will be the points leader. which, coincidentally enough, will be RV for the next 20 weeks.
