I should have used this one.....it fits your drama queen club about perfect.
In RC'S 7 year big bike career 2000-2006 not counting his part time series
He won 7 out of 7 MX titles and 5 out of 7 SX. So 12/14 possible titles
In RV's 6 year big bike career 2009-2014
He's won 2 out of 5 MX titles and 4 out of 6 SX. So 6/11 titles so far with outdoors coming up.
As dominant as RV is he has missed a lot due to injury over there years
but you probably wash the dishes, drink a beer and watch tv and think that's better
No one put a gun to any of these guy's heads and told them they had to race a dirtbike for a living, and you cannot tell me that signing autographs and staring at Monster chick's asses is agonizing. Sorry, not buying it. The training is hard? Yes, it's not easy, but there are hundreds of thousands of people out there who train nearly as hard, or as hard for their own personal betterment. I personally work out 6 days a week. The training regimen is harder to put into perspective to your average couch jockey, but people who lift/train for their own personal reasons understand.
I enjoy watching and cheering for the guys who love the sport as much as I do. Stewart, Roczen, come to mind, as well as the old-schoolers like Nick Wey and Andrew Short whom I refer to as "grinders".
What is even stranger yet is that 2 or mroe people on an internet forum would pass judgement on each other based on whom they cheer for at the races.
What gets me is how much of a motorycycle RACER RC was. If there was a motocross race happening RC wanted to win it! Where as villopoto seems to be doing it more for a paycheck.
People complain about RC in the booth but he gets more excited than anybody else like he actually enjoys watching the race and not just showing up for the paycheck.
Villopoto is the best right now, hands down, but i bet in 10 years there will be another dominating rider who will seem like the fastest motorcycle rifer there ever was and suddenly RVs accomplishments will be shrunk.
I really wish RC would have gone to gps instead of nascar. Oh well. Villopoto wont either so we wont see the best of the best in a series for quite some time.
