That was very interesting to see how much the 450 pulled the PC250 off the start! And around the rest of the track. Thanks for posting!

That's what an extra 15hp looks like.

If he rides like that on the weekends he is a podium guy every single weekend and with Stewart hurt and Reed out, probably the fastest guy there. Hope he can get it together.

Great video. I love videos w/no music.

Nick Wey looked fast and the factory bike and RV2 isn't done yet.

One thing is for certain, IF Villopoto rode like that with that intensity and corner speed I would be very shocked if someone beat him... Although I know its a test track he has put a billion laps in, I still think thats some rediculous corner speed!!

It was certainly impressive, hambone. Let me ask you, as a pro who has been there...was there ever a time when your competition surprised you? Personally I disagree with all of this "RV doesn't have it" bullshit. It is pretty tough at times to see a fraction of a second. We are talking about them every lap as if they were worlds of different ('poto and dungey for example) Is it possible that they both try as hard as they can?...only one man finishes ahead? Man, he sure looks like an amazing rider to me...I'm just curious as to what I'm missing when we talk about guys who are night and day faster.

I was surprised to see Wey comfortably ahead of Weimer with almost no time on the track or the bike. hmmmm.....maybe the kaw 450 isn't all that bad.

Dont forget he was riding a Kawi already, so i wouldnt be surprised if he had been on the track a bit this season already.

It seems the support teams seem to get on the factory tracks more often these days.

Those factory Kawi 450's sounds freaking SICK!! Would love to have one of those.

RV looks good on that track, but 2 things to consider, he rides that track every day, so much so that he could probably do it blind folded, and 2. no offence to Nick Way, but..... he was riding with Nick Way.

wonder if Nick Wey thinks R-acer is a douche too?

All 3 of those guys were flying. Great dirt. Clean track. It's a thing of beauty to watch. They make it look easy. But, that whole track is coming at them so fast, I can't imagine how they ride like that.

Outside of the corner speed, I'm impressed by how good suspension is today. They way they are able to rip across the whoops? Watch video from 10 years ago and it's nothing like that.

Speaking of corner speed, I watch a young RV racing out at Horn Rapids MX in WA, that kid did not let off the gas in the corners. He raced the 125 Schoolboy class on his Supermini and smoked the field.

RV has the speed for sure, and he can keep RD honest for 3/4 of the race... but that last 1/4 is where he seems to fall off the pace... fitness is his enemy at this point I think...

A few hot laps on a test track vs. 20 laps in a SX main are worlds apart...

Cool video idea to put the lites guy in with the 450 guys... love it.

Funny you mention the bike, my totally uninformed impression of the kawi is that it looks like a truck compared to the suzuki. Looks more suited to a national track, IMO.

I could be totally wrong, I've ridden either hondas or yamahas for the last 10 years.

I hope RV takes some of that anger he had towards himself last week and puts it toward the track tomorrow...

Funny you say that, I have always thought the exact same thing. The Kawi has a ton of power but it seems a little bulkier that the other three brands. But Tommy Hahn and Jake Moss were even flying on those bikes outdoors last year.

RV did crash hard at A1 practice and hurt his wrist . I think he will be gunning for a win this weekend with Dungey , Hill and Stewart .
