Does anyone take more hits as consistently as RJ? His crashes are hard to watch, kid is tough as hell.

If he races MEC I'll be amazed, that crash was scary.

I think he's "okay" as in he isn't critically injured. There's no way he got through that hit without at least a concussion. If he did, thank god he didn't. That was scary.

R J is one tough little dude, but IMHO this type of event and Extreme Motocross is pure B S. It reflects the sport of Motocross and Supercross to look bad. Let's get back to the pure origin of the sport and forget this circus and bafoonery event. Prayers for R J met and watched him at Sunshine Speedway in Clearwater Fla, Super Kid.

Sorry, I've been an MX fan for almost 40 years and I absolutely love this race.

I hope there's enough prize money for the riders to risk ending their racing season even before it begins.
Doesn't pay any points towards any championships afaik.
How does one silly dirt bike drag race make any difference in the whole scheme of MX racing?

During the broadcast they said something like, 'he's awake now and on the way to the hospital for further evaluation'. So he was obviously out for a while.

My camera time stamps show he was out for over a minute and a half.

scary! We all know head first into a whoop is cause of broken neck.. Soo glad he is ok, as far as that goes.

Brutal crash.

no different to any sx whoop section though.

I don't know I feel like they were going a lot faster in those whoops than normally in SX. Maybe not though.

In sx seems like they come out of a corner and get progressively faster through them. On this event they're already WFO 4th coming into them.

Way faster than a set of sx whoops. Pretty sketchy.

I'm so happy it wasn't worse. Fast or slow, you never know. Look at David Bailey or Jimmy Buttons crash. That said, it's a cool showcase of skill and timing.

Wow that was a horrible crash. Glad to hear he is going to be ok

I've been wrong once or twice. But it's probably a safe bet all the kids giving scout a hard time are straight up C riders... (as in C class. But potentially in other ways too.)

I think the Scout point is being missed by the internet tough guys. This race is a one off, pure exhibition race, that can wreck your whole years worth of training, practice and financial planning. Yes, It can also happen at MEC, or overseas at a pre season race. If you are contractually obligated, I guess you do it. As a guy trying to climb the ladder, I think it's an unnessary risk.No reason for everyone to get all butt hurt.

I didn't see the entire entry list, but it seems that all the bigger name riders who qualified for the elimination round in the open class are riding Red Bull sponsored bikes. Were there any factory riders not on KTMs, other than Stewart & Roczen? Either they weren't invited, or they passed on an event with little to gain while still posing the risk of injury that comes with any race. Take away the Red Bull/KTM connection and you have a race with JS7, KRoc, and a bunch of privateers.
