RIP Pro FMX rider Jim McNeil

I just found out that Pro FMX rider Jim McNeil from Arizona, crashed today at a contest and passed away. I've known Jim for many years and he was a really good person. He loved riding and put everything he had into it. He rode in the Nuclear Cowboys tour, did the X games, IFMAs, Red Bull X fighters, Dew Tour and much more.

He crashed doing an FMX demo at the Nascar race,I believe in Texas (Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth).

I had the opportunity to meet Jim one time at the Phoenix SX years ago. He was the 1st one I ever saw hucking backflips and extreme whips on 4-stroke. Extremely cool cat for sure and a true showman. My condolences to Jim and family.

They just announced this on the ESPN coverage of the Texas NASCAR Sprint Cup race. It happened there apparently.
