Lynn was a Texas Motocross icon and will surely missed. Anyone who raced in Texas through the 80's and 90's will remember his smooth voice, great attitude, and ability to make everyone feel welcome and special. Keep his family in your thoughts, and if prayer is your thing send some his way.

Lynn and a young GOAT!

Doing what he does best, interviewing! With Tommy and Wil Hahn.

Rest in Peace, Lynn.

At a loss for words right now... we lost a great man and a great motocross enthusiast.

R.I.P. Lynn.

Not to sidetrack Lynn's topic, but in the photo with him and the Goat, you can see one of WIndham's amateur Kawi's over Lynn's left shoulder. That photo looks like it was taken at Lake Whitney in front of the Team Green compound.

I'm so sad for this. But he and Kat and Wyman and all the others who have departed too soon are probably bench racing and swapping tall stories as I type this. Rest in Peace Lightnin' Lips.

Oh wow, I remember him announcing at Mosier Valley. My name sounded so sweet when he said it over the loud speaker.

RIP

Pretty hard for me to see this happen, I'll always remember his smooth audible chocolate he spoke on the mic, that's what I can tell you to picture when you were at an amateur race, hearing his voice all day commentating from the 50 strait up to the 250 A final as he would say it!! I remember coming off the track at Ponca after a grueling 5 lap battle to be put on the mic with him. A huge part of my amateur memories will be remembered with Lynn in them, I'll miss you my friend.

I will always remember year after year waking up to his "Good morning" comments at Ponca City. Ponca, and the sport just won't be the same without him. R.I.P.

I met Lynn 2 times thru Erv and was a hell of a great guy and one of the BEST Announcers there has been. Like Erv said working with Lynn was never about being the number 1 announcer it was about being a team member and always doing what was best for the team. He had a memory like no other and will be an ICON of the Sport of MX. Should be in the MX Hall of Fame.

"God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered, "Come to Me"
......With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best!!!"

Lynn will be missed by anyone that had the chance to meet him. He had a way of making EVERYONE feel important. The way he would see you walking in the infield and give a lttle shout out. The way he called races and it did not matter if you were fast or slow, the next big thing or just a weekend warrior, you were a racer and that was all that mattered. You just knew it was gonna be a great day when you heard that smooth voice call out Good Morning, you knew then all was right in the moto world. RIP Lynn, you will be missed but never forgotten.
