REM Races January?

Hi,

Me and some friends are visiting SoCal in January and i was hoping someone would know if there was an REM on the 12th?

Always been a dream of mine to race in the US, even if its for one Saturday in January

I tried them via email and FB but had no reply

Any help would be appreciated!

Well, if they stick to the same schedule as 2018, then Jan 12 would be the first one of the year. They should be releasing the schedule soon.

It's So Cal, I'd be surprised if there wasn't something else going on. Although most of our races are on Sunday.

Frank and Myra should have the new 2019 schedule out soon.

Gates open at 7 (sometimes earlier) practice starts 8:30AM and typically your heading home by 2:30PM. Plan on 2 - 15 min motos (typically 5-7 laps, depends on the length of the track). Pure moto: off cambers, up / down big hills, rough and a lot of fun. Yes there are jumps and they are safe. Great vibe, a lot of industry people race there and your home in the evening to watch SX. It's a blast tbh because REM put's on great races and everybody is friendly. Hope you can make it.

That’s awesome thanks for the info! I love pure moto, that’s all we have in the UK. Here’s some tracks we ride at, traction is never an issue!

SoCalOTMX on the REM track at Glen Helen January 6th. 16-20 minute motos depending on your skill level.

Their website shows a race on 1-12. We were told at riders meeting on 12-8 that they were having some problems with GH over scheduling so that's why they are late getting days out to us. He sounded a little unsure of what was going to happen.
I wonder if Competitive Edge closing had anything to do with the delay? GH is about to get even busier.
