JGR just posted this picture to facebook selling 2 new Chad Reed hats. 1 being an official team hat (according to the post). Notice the boost mobile logo. Maybe they got the deal done with that money?

look i don't think anything is certain yet... there really are using reed to lure in fans and using him on that bike to its full advantage.
I really do hope he is lining up in 2019 on that JGR bike though! its not like his results the past 2 races have been good enough

Honestly, it seems like a lot of effort and money to be spent on a guy who may or may not be on the team. Surely all this merch and hype on their Instagram has to be foreshadowing something.

Ellie actually came up with the MCRGA hats they just used the JGR supplier to make them and the JGR 22 hats.
I don’t think anything is final yet. But it’s being worked on very, very hard.
Buy a few hats to help out the cause

Chad is helping JGR and Suzuki as much as the other way around. The feedback and exposure he provides is worth every penny.

By the way, it's not that expensive to make 576 embroidered hats. The hats don't necessarily indicate anything.

Reed has had Boost onboard as a personal sponsor a long time. It sure wouldn’t hurt for JGR to have them lined up to help the budget, that’s for sure.

I really hope they can get something figured out, he was at the AIM Expo on Sunday and signed my 5 year olds hat for him. Chad was super nice and talked with him for a little bit, he is my sons favorite rider and he was a little nervous but Chad was Accommodating to all of us on Sunday!
Don’t piss off the old people - the older they get the less “life in prison” is a deterrent for them!
