Ryan Dungey & Eli Tomac both seem to race each other agressively...but super respectfuly and safely. I don't believe I can remember a time I've seen either rider take the other high in a turn, cut over on the whoops or anything even the least bit shady.

Do you think that might change with either rider going into these last few races, starting at SLC given the opportunity? Frankly, Dungey hasn't been close enough to ET3 to punt him if he wanted to...but we aren't seeing the "mad Dungey" that we saw last year either...but if it came down to it, I think Ryan would get physical with Eli or at least try to. You know, RC used say "If you can't win, crash the guy who can!".

We might see some fireworks at SLC! What are your thoughts?

It would be hilarious to me if Dungey when full-on heel and cleaned ELIte out. Just a complete character switch.

I think they are two of the most respectful riders on the track so I doubt it.

Barcia T-Boned Tomac in a corner in their heat race and I don't think Tomac was ever even aware it happened, probably still isn't.

To answer your question, no. RD won't be able to get close enough.

They haven't been near each other much to this point but it sure would be fun to see them bang bars and get a little crazy!

I'd call the second turn at St. Louis aggressive, but no one went down, and it's what you'd expect from two guys going for a title.

Hilarious is an odd description.

If Tomac has to clean out Dungey for a championship, he will clean him out.

If Dungey has to clean out Tomac for a championship, he will just stay in second place and congratulate Eli with a smile.

My opinion.

If anything it will be eli punting dungey.
He has neither the skill or the steady hand to pull off such a feat.

I don't think Eli will have a problem bumping Ryan.

It would be slightly out of character for Ryan to bump Eli. He will try and I think that will be to his detriment.

Also, if Ryan wasn't willing to push a lapper (Chad Reed) out oft he way, why do you think he would do it to Eli? Who is to say he will even catch Eli?

Either way I just hope we get a 1 on 1 battle at least once. And I also hope neither one gets injured in these last few races. I want it to be a race all the way to Vegas.

Well good thing he probably won't have to because he's been quite a bit faster than Dungey all year

It would be epic if 5 cleaned out 3 for the title. Will it happen? Probably not. On the flip side, if you're gunna run the #3 you best not be afraid put anybody on the ground, champ or not!

Didn't Eli punt Wilson for the 250W title one year?

I could see it happening more from Ryan mainly because he against the ropes. Eli has shown he is more than capable to return the favor if needed

Not 100% sure which race it was, but wasn't it a case of WIlson started it, and Eli quickly finished it (and Wilsons season)?

I've seen Dungey go full BamBam before. I remember him cleaning out Poto on the last turn before the finish. Probably 2013-14 They both went down, I don't even think it was for a podium position. So I have little doubt he wouldn't do the same to Eli.

I don't think they'll get dirty per se. Raced hard, blocked, yes. You will see each going very, very fast, that I'm confident.
