I see the 'Dungey Attitude' topic was quickly sent to the Dumbgeon...

Once again this place and its moderators prove to be biased...

said it before and I will say it again to all the noobs around here, don't you dare say anything negative about Dear Dungey... apparently someone around here has a man crush that can't take it...

lol

Quickly sent to the Dumbgeon? The people saying Dungey was wrong and has an attitude problem for being confused with Alessi's overzealous attempts to celebrate with him had 2 full days and 7 pages of bashing before it was sent to the appropriate forum.

It was here for days, if you want to continue the conversation, it is still available.

Either way it was getting old, bitching about a handshake? Lame.

Equally creepy was Ryan's avoidance. Bad sportsmanship doesn't seem very Godly.

It would have been funny if RD had been equally persistent towards Alessi at the end of the second moto Smile

especially noteworthy was the ease in which RD re-caught Mr. Roadblock after he went down.

I was screaming at the TV, KNOCK THE FUCKER DOWN IF HE WONT GET OUT OF THE WAY !

Alessi beat Dungey fair and square.

In jubilation Alessi tried to shake Dungeys hand and congratulate him on a good, fair race (which is was) but for some inexplicable reason Dungey kept shrugging him off.

Quickly sent? Not too many would agree with that accessment.

Biased? Might get some agreement, but only due to fanboys on both sides of the fence.

Dungey gives people on moto boards so little to post about, some take the smallest detail and try to blow out of proportion. Now we have to pick on the mods?

Geezus, give it a rest already.

It boils down to Alessi's need to be like and respected by his peers. He's so hungry for approval. So, in his helmet he's thinking - "OMG, I WON! Dungey will like me now" Then he's let down when Dungey isnt as excited about it.

Or... he could just have be elated that he won and keen to congratulate Ryan on (from his perspective) a great race.

Its just common courtesy is it not?

Exactly, Dungey stopped, waited for Alessi, shook his hand and at the end of it Alessi is still lookin around like "he still doesn't like me?"
It's all part of the Alessi "nobody respects us" philosphy.

Dungey frikkin stopped an waited on him after he realized Alessi wasn't satisfied and his repeated attemtps for more than a congratulatory wave.

What more did you want him to do?

Continually bringing it up makes you guys look just as bad as Alessi, probably worse.

At least Alessi has somewhat of an excuse that he was "super pumped" about winning.

Probably the best 450 moto of the year and you guys still find something to complain about.

First of all congrats to Mike Alessi he did a hell of a job riding offensive out there BUT Ide say the real reason why we are all so mad in here is because we saw the first act of Gay happen in Motorcross Alessi ran down Dungey like a teenage girl in 9th gradeUnsure

Don't waste your time looking for it, you'll be bummed if you did. the race was fairly entertaining, but the end was anti-climactic. Track was one lined, Dungey had a hard time passing Alessi, Alessi was blocking all his lines. Dungey was faster, but Alessi won the race. Alessi wanted to hug it out after the race with Dungey. Dungey obviously wasn't happy about not getting the win. Dungey rode past Alessi giving him a thumbs up when Alessi wanted to talk to him. Dungey rode down about another 75-100 feet, stopped and waited for Alessi to catch up to him. Alessi caught up to Dungey, Dungey shook his hand then rode off. Alessi was left there saying like "wait, don't you want to talk about how I beat you this moto?". Real shocker......Dungey was respectful on the podium and shook Mike's hand again. Dungey said he didn't get out to the start he wanted, Mike did, and Mike won. Said the track was tough to pass on. that's it.

I really don't know why this is even a topic on here.
