Listening to them talk about their days developing 4 strokes was some of the best listening all year. Super pumped they were able to get over any issues they had and do some bench racing. It’s good for everyone.

I believe RC was t happy with Steve because he would say Ricky wasn’t the GOAT, he still says MC was the best at Supercross and you can’t be the goat or he was tired of everyone calling RC the Goat. Ricky heard it and just wasn’t a fan of Steve after that.

Great podcast and so glad RC and Steve cleared the beef they may or may not have had.

Their chemistry was great and both experienced the same era of mx in the industry.

Hope Steve can do a full length career podcast with Rc, glad they burried the beef and thanks to Daniel Blair for sorting it out , the podcast is good but leaves you wanting for more

Ricky was an awesome interview. He can be a little awkward in the booth sometimes, but he was very well-spoken here and had some great stories about what was going on behind the scenes

Great interview. This is the format Matthes excels at- race and tech talk from the era when he was wrenching. Just listening to RC you can tell he has continued to work on his diction, elocution and vocabulary. Looking forward to hearing him in the booth this year!

Interesting that RC did both Pulp and DMXS in the same week-ish...is Triumph getting ready for an announcement? Both interviews are nearly identical at the beginning, but listening to Mattes and RC bench race was cool.

I think it all started in '03. Well before any mention of goat or not status. Steve's boy, Ferry, tried to insert himself into the race for the title. RC had enough of it and parked him, hard. Words were exchanged. The moral of the story being, you mess with the bull of the woods, you're apt to get the horns.
