In a recent interview, Carmichael admitted his 48 supercross wins were not anywhere near McGrath's incredible 72 supercross wins. "Yeah, I don't know why people refer to me as the GOAT, especially during supercross season. I would have to win 24 more 450 mains to even tie the King. No one will ever beat him. I wish I was him every day. He's my all time hero." When asked why Carmichael retired, he said "I suck at blitzing whoops bro. I'm just not very good at all." April fools

Gotta give RC points for humility. Whether or not RC is truly the GOAT is immaterial. He is the GOAT as far as SX/MX combined, in my opinion. The guy set a new standard for fitness & sheer determination that has yet to be equaled.

MC can and, has,,,, laid claim to the title, greatest SX racer. He has the numbers to back it up. RC on the other hand, with 15 ama titles and 150 wins, claims Stewart is the fastest man on the planet and MC is the king..... Arrogant cuss.

The rider with the full package has to go to RC period! Yes MC has 72 SX wins but that's it he only wanted to race SX. Yes I was a MC fan when he was Racing but overall RC is the goat! If JS7 had made some better choices during the peak of his career there is no doubt that he would have beat MC 72 record..The JGR year and the bubba's world years were not good but I'm sure he made few million doing that bubba's world show! I'm sure alot of industry insiders were very happy that JS7 career started to implode! Where does he stand now 50 wins SX!

He's trying to be humble. His 12 championships, two perfect seasons, one undefeated overall season, and his numerous wins say otherwise. He's the GOAT. SX specifically, however, is different. That's why MC is the King of SX.

I don't get what's so hard to understand. He's not the overall greatest when it comes to SX. He definitely is when it comes to outdoors. However when you combine the 2, and look at the numbers, no one comes close. He's simply the greatest dirt bike racer of all time.

I get it that this MIGHT be an April Fools joke, but ts.p311 is 100% correct!

RC won 70 consecutive outdoor moto's. No flue, no injuries, no breakdowns, no take outs etc! 70 in a row. I would like to see that record broken.

Post a reply to: RC admits he is not even close to the GOAT
