October 17th, 2017 – The field is set for the Two-Stroke Shootout at Red Bull Straight Rhythm. This eight-man bracketed competition will be exclusively for bikes with two-stroke engines, and will be hosted by Ken Roczen. But how will it all unfold?

The Two-Stroke Bracket Challenge allows you to make your best guess. Drag and drop riders below to fill out your bracket and pick a winner. Submit your bracket and the first perfect bracket (or the closest to perfect) will win a prize pack from Fox Racing (not to mention the admiration of your friends and family). Get to Fairplex in Pomona or tune in to Red Bull TV on October 21 to root on your picks.

I guess this means there is no chance of js7 entering the 2 stroke race.

Amazing that redbull can give fans something they want to see and build a website to make it even more engaging. Thats why they are successful.

Sounded like MC (on Pulp) would've be game had he not needed to wrap up the truck championship this weekend.

Man I'm so pumped for this thing I'm sitting here making 2 stroke noises at work Woohoo Lol seriously though, I can see this event getting bigger in the years to come and attracting more big names to show. As mentioned before its just a fun one off event that nobody really cares about being competitive at. Make a mistake? No big deal just pull up and get 2nd and move on to the next race. No embarrassment for not performing well, just all about the fun and sponsors get a plug too. Win-win for everybody

Ronnie Mac could be anyone. We all know the normal Ronnie Mac is Albertson, but who knows, maybe Canard could be Ronnie for this race. I think “Ronnie Mac” this year might actually put up a fight, all depending on who “Ronnie Mac” really is this year. I’m excited for this one!

That's an interesting point. I'd put my money on it being TP if its not actually Albertson. But either way... If I don't see at least 3 Boner Airs on each run, I'm going to be disappointed.

this is cool, but I dont get having the seperate class for them. it's cool for the guys that want to run 2 classes, but it seems like a missed opportunity here with the whole drama of "4 stroke vs 2 stroke". it seems like that would play out nicely in this event.

...i supose the smokers might not be fast enough. i don't know.

Anyone know if they sell tickets at the door? I take the CPA exam Saturday morning 10 minutes away from the race but don't know if I'll have the energy to go to the race after

The point is to have fun and draw in riders that wouldnt normally be competing. No way is RV lining up to race Jordan Smith on a 2 stroke he rode twice.

Easy just have a final race between class winners. 250 v 450 v 2T v Electric

Steinke is on the list. Better take a look again or get your eyes checked lol. He's listed at number 6.

As for Kaven Benoit it would be cool to see a Canadian at the event and seeing as he won back to back 250 championships on the 2 stroke he knows how to ride one. That being said I don't see it in his plans this year or any other year.

He got hurt riding SX last January so came into the MX season not 100%, re-aggravated it early in the season, sat out a couple weeks, came back and lacerated his liver. I believe he still has 1 other surgery to get done in order to fix some things in his ankle. You won't see him do any off season SX races anytime soon. He said at this point in his career the SX ship has sailed. Concentrating 100% on MX from now on.
