And he'd being beating everybody, Including Stewie. Villopoto had a fast lap in the 2.07 in the first lites moto and stayed in the 2.11 range most of the moto until he backed it off and cruised to the win and the best Stewart can do is a 2.11.014 on his first lap of his first moto. That MXON thing last year wasn't a fluke, Villopoto can beat anyone aboard a 250f regardless of displacement.

RV turned a 207.9 and Dungey turned a 208.1 and Josh Grant turned a 210. They must all be faster than stewart.

Dude, James ran a 2:07 flat in practice just because he can. RV HAD to run 2:07 in the race otherwise RD would have won. Haven't you learned by now, James only goes as fast as he needs to. Get with the program. I quess we'll find out in the MXDN if RV can beat James on a 250F.

Why would Stewart need to go faster? He checked out before he even got his heart rate up

Must be, the fastest rider in the world is aboard a 250f. Remember all that squak about how Stewart was faster aboard his 125 than the 250 guys, Well! the same holds true about Villopoto, he's faster aboard a 250F than the 450F guys.

Back then it was actually Stewart on a 125 and Carmichael on a 450, but whose counting. Oh and STFU.

Well I just don't get what this guy is smoking. It wasn't like Villopoto was the only one to go faster and he barely was faster than Dungey. Obviously he's neglecting the fact that the sandy track broke down.

Dungey would have won, I think he was like 14 seconds behind wasn't he. Villopoto only rides as fast as he needs to also. There's plenty more in the tank if he needs it and when he get's on a 450, Stewie is done. No wonder he's thinking SX only, he see's what's comin, just like Bubba's fans said about RC for retiring

Truth hurts doesn't it. Funny how Bubba's fans always like to throw around the Stewarts faster aboard a 125 than everyone, but back then, track conditions getting worse wern't taken into account.

No doubt RV will be fast on a 450 also, but I really dont see him beating Stewart at all. He will beat the rest though.

Just get tired of seeing all these posts about Stewart being the fastest there ever was and ever will be. RC and Villipoto clearly demonstrate that he's not. Stewart no doubt is amazing, but there's nobody in the 450 class right now that is up to the task of bringing it to Bubba.

Villopoto isn't even in the conversation dude. Deal with it. RC and James were in their own class. Villopoto will have to beat Reed, Alessi, Hill, Millsaps, Windham, Ferry, and Short before people put him in the same race as James. I'll believe it when I see it.

Villopoto already beat RC and Reed last year aboard an underpowered 250f at the MXON on a track that's much more suited for a big bore.

Yeah! a rookie that needed to be spotted a DNF by Villopoto and now's taking the rest of the year off with a broken Femur, because he tried to run Villopoto's pace.

we will all see soon enough.... the only thing is, we will have to hear about how he needs to get used to the 450 etc...... blah blah... and this will get ridden out for 2 years or so.
But look at the bright side.... he should have any trouble with reed

Sure!! that's the excuse Stewarts fans were giving as to why RC was beating him all the time for AMA titles. First it was, because Stewart was on a 250 2-stroke, than it was he's not use to riding a 450 4-stroke and then last year, people were saying RC's winning, because he has nothing to lose, since he's only racing outdoors part time and Steward is racing for the championship and only worried about who's RC and him. Go figure.

the bike thing was legit. After that, there weren't excuses. James was always clearly faster, yet he didn't have the same conditioning and mental toughness.

Reed will probably win the SX title again in 2009, but outdoors Villopoto and Stewart would destroy him.

Post a reply to: Put Villopoto in that 450 moto aboard his 250f
