You can save yourself some coin and get the stockers anodized. Not sure any of the wheel makers produce a purple wheel, but you'll have to dig a little.

Looks like it’s an option from Warp 9. I just did a quick search and didn’t see purple offered from a few others on their direct sites, but is shown here. Could at least be worth a phone call to verify tho. Good luck with the search, and post photos when done...those bikes are both so nice. 🤙🏼

The 95 had purple. The 97 was red and black.

Correct. I like the look of the bright red and purple, more than the black and red, I ran the numbers on the bike to make to make sure it was a 97 right before I purchased it.
I always swore my next project bike will be finished with purple hoops. This one is the background on my computer screen at work currently.
Unleaded tastes a little tangy. Supreme is kinda sour, and diesel tastes pretty good.
Look what showed up on my porch this morning! I couldn’t wait, so I went ahead and started putting them on.
I went with purple hubs on my KTM, they look amazing

I had a '95 with purple rims. Original owner John Schneider then Chris Hunter, then myself. She was amazing! Looking forward to your restoration results.
That is a great look, and I didn't like the purple Hondas at the time.
...Or the purple Kawasakis ...Or the purple Yamahas ...Or the purple KTMs. The mid 90s was just an excessively purple era.
I'm super happy with how this thing ended up looking. The right amount of purple.

If i were you i would go for a set of red sidepanels with black background. The bike would pop more with the red
Turbo Reif’s Dad use to own a Honda dealership in Paso Robles. He had a team with about 20 riders and they all had purple hubs and rims. This is the only picture I have of one of my bikes. But you’ll see every once in a while one will pop up on Craigslist for sale. About 60 or so are rolling around nor-cal or god knows where they ended up. Some of the 125’s are not 125s.
O ya, they all had purple background number plates. He would paint the backgrounds with purple paint. They came out pretty darn good.
I’m in the process of rebuilding a 1997 CR 125 and I am wanting to put purple rims on the bike. It currently has a purple Tecnosel seat cover and will either have purple shrouds or nuclear red shrouds with purple accents when finished. I know purple rims were a thing in the 90’s, my brother had a KX with purple rims. Does any one know of a company that still makes purple rims?
